🚀 February 2026 Release Notes

Improvement 🛠️
Fix 🪲

We've made some updates to ABSolute over the past month, so here's your round up of the latest improvements 🥳

✨ What’s New

This month we’ve focused on optimising backend processes around Graphics and Playlists Exports, making them more reliable, quicker to set up and easier to troubleshoot.

🛠️ Improvements

  • More robust AsRun setup for non‑commercial channels: We’ve refreshed the backend AsRun set up for non-commercial channels, meaning that you can now request access to your playout log even if you do not schedule commercials.
  • Additional graphics checks during playlist exports: ABSolute will now prevent playlist export when certain offset and duration fields are in an invalid state, helping you avoid exporting playlists with incomplete or inconsistent graphics.
  • Smarter handling of graphics set up: We've refreshed the backend logic for our graphics set up, making it quicker for us to customise which instances of programming should not contain which types of graphics as per channel requests.

🪲 Bug Fixes

  • Subtitles on Freeview EPG Export: Fixed an issue where the Freeview EPG could show subtitle indicators on all content instead of only where subtitles are actually available.
  • EPG import after Excel macros: Resolved a problem where EPG imports could fail with a “null” error after macros had been run on the spreadsheet, improving reliability for macro‑based EPG workflows.

As always, if you have any questions about this update or anything relating to ABSolute, please feel free to browse our support articles or raise a ticket using the Help widget!

All the best,

The ABSolute Team
