🚀 August 2026 Release Notes

We've made some updates to ABSolute over the past month, so here's your round up of the latest improvements 🥳

🛠️ Improvements

• Asrun Processing: This backend change means the automation for daily Asrun delivery runs more smoothly and consistently.
• Playlist Export Auto-Email: Added email notifications for playlist exports, so users can automatically receive copies of their playlists if needed.

🐛 Bug Fixes

• Playlist Export Email Error: Fixed an error that occurred when the email service was enabled but no recipient emails had been configured.
• Playlist Auto-Email Permissions: Fixed an issue where the "do not email" setting was enabled by default and hidden from users.
• EPG Image Upload File Names: Fixed an issue where special characters in image upload file names caused errors.
• Server Upload Limit: Corrected the server upload limit, which had been capped at 2MB.
• User Permissions: Fixed an issue where bulk removal of dummy timecodes was not possible on a channel without graphics.
• Channelbox EPG Export: Fixed an issue where the versioning UI did not update after a Channelbox EPG export.
• Freeview API Export with Umbrellas: Fixed a fatal error preventing the upload of schedules with umbrellas via the Freeview API.
• EPG Export BCC Display: Fixed an issue where BCC emails weren't displaying correctly across all EPG export formats.
• Opt-Out Promo Rules: Fixed a display issue in the scheduling rules UI for Opt-Out Promos.
