We’ve made some updates to ABSolute over the last month, so here’s your round up of the latest improvements. 🥳

✨ What’s New

Freesat EPG Export for Umbrella Scheduling

We've made our Freesat EPG format compatible with umbrella scheduling in the FPC. If your channel uses umbrella scheduling and would like to start sending EPGs to Freesat, don't hesitate to reach out!

🛠️ Improvements

• Umbrella scheduling EPG export rework: we've made some backend changes to umbrella scheduling settings to allow for more flexible platform specific closedown window handling and more straightforward integration with any future platforms.

🪲 Bug Fixes

• More robust interstitial versioning check in playlist editor, to correct issue where only one version of an interstitial could be dropped into the playlist.
• Version check for interstitial replace within a playlist, to correct where the replace function could only paste one version of an interstitial.
• Version filter in check playlist bulk replace, to correct where unavailable interstitial versions where permitted for bulk replace.

• DB Import channel discrepancy check for shared channels: the system was incorrectly validating that versions had the same number of channels as programmes or more. Correction made to allow the same number or fewer.
